Dazzle Dental Clinic has operated from Mumbai since 1998, building a clinical team and infrastructure focused on complex dentistry: full-arch implant rehabilitation, cosmetic smile design, and specialist restorative and periodontal care. Two locations — Bandra West (Linking Road) and Kemps Corner — serve patients across Mumbai and patients travelling internationally for treatment. Over 10,000 implants placed; patients from more than 20 countries.
This article is a practical overview of what makes Dazzle different from a general dental clinic, and why patients with complex treatment needs choose us over other Mumbai options.
The Multi-Specialist Team
Dazzle is not a single-dentist generalist practice. The clinical team includes full-time specialists in implantology (oral surgery and prosthodontics), periodontics, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. For complex cases — full-arch rehabilitation, zygomatic implant placement, comprehensive smile makeovers, full-mouth rehabilitation combining implants with crowns and gum treatment — specialists collaborate on the same case. The periodontist and prosthodontist plan cosmetic cases together. The implantologist and prosthodontist plan full-arch cases together. This integrated team model produces different outcomes than a generalist managing all aspects of a complex case alone.
Led by Dr Rajesh Shetty (periodontics) and a team of 15+ dentists trained in India and internationally, the clinical standards at Dazzle are benchmarked against global specialist practice rather than local general dentistry norms.
In-House Digital Laboratory
Dream Dental Studio — Dazzle’s in-house CAD/CAM laboratory — fabricates all ceramic restorations within the clinic. Intraoral scan data from the TRIOS 5 scanner passes directly to the Amann Girrbach milling unit; crowns are sintered in the Ivoclar Programat CS6 furnace. No external laboratory involvement for standard crown, bridge, and veneer cases means: no communication gaps between clinician and technician, no external turnaround delays, and same-day or next-day delivery for most restorations. For international patients with fixed travel schedules, this is clinically significant. For all patients, it means the quality of the restoration is directly controlled by the team treating you.
Technology in Use
3Shape TRIOS 5 intraoral scanner (5–10 micron trueness). In-house CBCT imaging for implant planning, endodontic assessment, and surgical guide design. Asiga Max 3D printer for surgical guides and provisional restorations. Fotona Er:YAG and Nd:YAG laser (gum surgery, frenectomy, laser-assisted root canal disinfection). The Wand computer-assisted anaesthetic delivery. Digital articulator for full-mouth occlusal analysis. The full technology stack is in-house — no external referrals for imaging or laboratory work.
International Patient Provision
Patients from the UK, GCC, Australia, the USA, and Africa come to Dazzle specifically for All-on-4, zygomatic implants, and smile makeovers at costs substantially below their home markets. The clinic is structured to accommodate this: remote CBCT assessment before travel, treatment planning by WhatsApp clinical line, pre-fabricated same-day provisional bridges for full-arch surgery days, fitness-to-fly assessments before departure, and a two-visit protocol designed around international travel schedules. See the medical tourism article for full detail.
What Dazzle Does Not Do
Dazzle is a specialist referral destination, not a high-volume general dental practice. Patients seeking routine check-ups, simple fillings, and basic preventive care are welcomed, but the clinic’s clinical infrastructure is sized for complex treatment rather than high-volume low-complexity throughput. If the primary need is complex — missing teeth, failing dentition, smile redesign, periodontal disease management, or difficult endodontics — Dazzle is the right environment. If the need is routine, any competent local dentist will serve adequately.
FAQs
Q1: How do I book a consultation at Dazzle?
By phone (022 4149 8949), via the appointment form on dazzle.dental, or via WhatsApp to the clinical inquiry number. For international patients, the WhatsApp clinical line is the fastest route to a preliminary assessment and cost estimate before committing to travel. CBCT files (DICOM format) can be shared digitally for remote review.
Q2: Which location should I book at?
Bandra West (Linking Road) is convenient for patients in Bandra, Juhu, Andheri, and BKC. Kemps Corner is convenient for patients in South Mumbai (Colaba, Nariman Point, Churchgate, Lower Parel). Both locations have the same clinical team coverage and technology. International patients staying in BKC hotels typically use Bandra West; South Mumbai hotels typically use Kemps Corner.
Q3: Does Dazzle accept international patients for single-session cosmetic work?
Yes. Composite bonding, gum contouring, and Zoom whitening can be completed in one appointment. Veneer cases require multiple appointments over several days. International patients planning cosmetic treatment are advised to contact Dazzle in advance to discuss the minimum visit window needed for their specific case.
Q4: What makes Dazzle different from other dental clinics in Mumbai?
The combination of in-house specialist team, in-house digital laboratory, and in-house imaging (CBCT, intraoral scanning) under one roof is uncommon in Mumbai. Most clinics rely on external laboratories and external imaging centres — creating delays and communication gaps that affect outcomes. The clinical volume in complex implant and cosmetic cases at Dazzle also means the team has experience depth in procedures that lower-volume practices perform only occasionally.
